Membership Eligibility

The Junior League of Bronxville is open to women of all races, religions, and national origins who share in our commitment to improving our community through volunteer service. Applicants must be 21 years old by August 1 and must reside or work within Bronxville, Eastchester, Mount Vernon, Tuckahoe, or Yonkers.

Program Overview

Each fall, in the month of October, we host an informational session in Bronxville where women can learn more about our organization and speak to current members and leaders about their experiences in the league.

After attending the informational session, women can decide if they would like to join our provisional class, which is a one-year (October to June) program that introduces prospective members to the league’s mission and encourages them to get involved in our community outreach and social events.

At the end of the provisional year, a prospective member can decide if they would like to be considered for active membership in the league.

Igniting & Inspiring Change

The Junior League of Bronxville is a welcoming and inclusive organization that puts women’s abilities and passions to work right here in Westchester County. We are a dedicated group working to lead positive change within our communities.  If you are interested in skill development, community outreach, and collaboration, you are in the right place!

As an organization, we are committed to developing the potential of women and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of our trained volunteers. By providing a variety of programs and resources designed to prepare women to be effective collaborators and strong community leaders, not only is JLB a place where our members will make a lasting community impact, but it is one where members will feel empowered, encouraged, more creative, and connected.
